Vestry Meeting

The Vestry Meeting is the church equivalent of an Annual General Meeting. As such, the financial statements and budget were presented along with the reports from all the aspects of our Cathedral life.

The new lay governance was also elected at this meeting. Katie Appollis was thanked for many years of faithful service as a Parish Council member. Ronaldo Burger and Glyn Lloyd-Jones were re-elected as Church Wardens, along with Rodney Bridger, Zanele Meth and Jessica Lloyd-Jones as Parish Council members. New members of the Parish Council are Melvin Ouma and Nosiphiwo Mani.

Jessica Lloyd-Jones was selected as the Cathedral's lay representative at the Elective Assembly, and Nomfuneko Ntapane will be the alternate.

Thank you to all those that attended and contributed to this vital part of the church governance, and to everyone who brought eats to keep us going through the meeting.
